In this first ever edition, Dave McCarthy is in conversation with Andy Lines, bishop of the Anglican Network in Europe (ANiE). Among other things, they talk about coming to faith, tank commanders and what being a bishop ought to be about.

Dave McCarthy has been a follower of Jesus Christ since 1981 and has served as a church leader since 1988.

Currently he is based in a church in west Edinburgh. He enjoys music and films, and each year his wife very kindly buys him a season ticket to see Scotland at Murrayfield during the Six Nations. He thinks you'll find her to be a saint!

In this podcast, he'll meet interesting people and comment on a lot of stuff like the state of the church in Scotland and around the world as well as the good and bad aspects of culture.
